Ontario government must make Blood Utilization Management a priority

This campaign was launched prior to the Ontario budget announcements in spring 2004.
-----------------------
The Liberal government made a commitment during the election to support blood conservation. In addition, Health Minister Smitherman has publicly indicated the value of blood utilization management (BUM). It is very important that blood utilization management (or blood conservation) be identified as a priority and funded in the next Ontario budget.

Please take a minute to let Minister Smitherman and your member of provincial parliament know that you believe BUM is a priority and should be funded in this upcoming budget. To facilitate this process, the Anemia Institute has prepared a "template" letter that can be found on our website. By inputting your postal code, the program automatically identifies your MPP, generates a letter that is personalized to your MPP (that you can modify), and then sends it off automatically with your email address. The letter can also be downloaded to be sent by fax or mail.
Please add your voice to ensure that BUM is identified as a priority and funded in this next budget.

(This campaign is no longer actiive.)
